The Reds could welcome back two key players for their clash with Rashford and Co.

Liverpool are gearing up for tricky back-to-back clashes in the Premier League. On Saturday, the league leaders will make the trip to north London to face Mourinho’s Tottenham before hosting historical rivals Man United next week.

Klopp has been dealing with quite a few injuries as of late and while things won’t let up in time for the clash with Spurs, the German boss reveals huge boosts for the Red Devils showdown. The Liverpool boss admitted that they could have two players back for that Super Sunday fixture.

They are Dejan Lovren and Fabinho. Klopp revealed that James Milner and Naby Keita could miss both tomorrow’s game and next week’s Man United clash but they could welcome back a center-back and defensive midfielder to their squad.

“Dejan and Fabinho we expect to be back next week in full training,” the German boss told the club’s official site.

“That’s obviously good. If that’s then early enough for the United game, I don’t know but we will see. They work really hard in the moment and they go really through the paces, so that’s good.”

Shaqiri is also back to full training but unfortunately, Joel Matip appears will remain on the sidelines a bit longer. Nonetheless, the return of Fabinho will be a huge boost for the Merseyside giants.

The Brazilian midfielder has emerged as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and was proving his worth once again this season before picking up an injury. Lovren’s return, meanwhile, will give Klopp options in the defense, with Van Dijk and Gomez being the only available center-backs at the moment.
