Godoy Cruz, Cruzeiro and Internacional look forward to secure their presence among America's best sixteen.
Time is running out for those teams who've wasted the first four games in the Libertadores fight. Junior Barranquilla is the revelation, having kept a perfect scoring.

Internacional, on the other hand, has been caught on the crossfire of the group 6, fighting with Emelec and Jaguares for the two places to the knockouts. The Brazilians defeated their rival last week at home easily, but the Bolivian squad won't give in without a fight.

Estudiantes follows Cruzeiro closely, with nine points after four games. Deportivo Tolima is the only squad in the group that can jeopardize their qualification, and thus this week's clash becomes a decisive six-pointer for the group.

Guarani and Jorge Wilstermann, both occupying the bottom position without any points whatsoever, look forward to celebrate at least one victory to show their worth to the continent, will they succeed?

This is Deportes Tolima's last chance to claim a ticket for the knockouts. Cruzeiro and Estudiantes, with 10 and 9 points respectively, are the favorites to advance to the next stage, but the Colombian squad can jeopardize Estudiantes' qualification upon a victory.

Pincha's coach Eduardo Berizzo will have to do without Facundo Roncaglia and Rodrigo Braña (both of them injured), making way for Nelson and Leandro Benitez in the starting squad. Team's captain Juan Sebastian Veron and Enzo Perez will be joining Leandro Gonzalez and Hernan Rodrigo Lopez in the attack.

Estudiantes is going through an excellent moment, occupying the first position in the Apertura with 15 points after seven games. Braña's absence forces Berizzo to change his formation, perhaps using a 3-4-1-2 formation to dominate the game from the midfield.

Tolima's coach Hernan Torres is confident the same eleven players that defeated Deportivo Cali for the Colombian league will have what it takes to stop the Argentineans from bagging the victory. Wilmer Parra and Wilder Medina will be looking forward to score an early goal, vital for the Colombians to remain competitive in America's most challenging tournament.

Cruzeiro vists Asuncion to lock horns with basement boys Guarani, who's yet been able to obtain a single point in this competition. The Brazilians are leading the group with 10 points, one above Estudiantes.

The Paraguayan squad defeated Rubio Ñu 2-1 before falling against Sportivo Luqueño by the minimum difference.

"We need a positive result away. A meritorious victory against America inspires us for Wednesday's clash. We're focused on the Libertadores now and we want to make sure we make it to the next stage" said Cruzeiro's goalkeeper Fabio.

Cruzeiro recovers midfielder Henrique and winger Victorino, while Felix Dario Leon will rely on Fabio Escobar and Luis Ovelar to lead Guarani's attack.

Who'll claim the three points in Cochabamba?

A victory can take reigning champion Internacional to the top of the sixth group. Celso Roth recovers Argentinean playmaker Andres D'Alessandro and Pablo Guiñazu.

This is the last opportunity for the Bolivian squad to remain competitive in the fight for the two places to the knockouts. Internacional defeated Jorge Wilstermann 4-1 a few weeks ago in Cochabamba, and the Brazilians are eager to take another decisive step towards qualification now at home.

Only once in 37 games has any Bolivian squad been able to celebrate a victory in Brazil, back in 2002 when Bolivar defeated Atletico Paranaense by the minimum difference. The last time Jorge Wilstermann visited Brazil they were sent back home empty-handed by Mineiro, though Norberto Kekes managed to score a goal.

Formar Mallorca's striker Fernando Cavenaghi is likely to be watching this game from the bench, while Mario Bolatti won't be able to perform, called by Sergio Batista for Argentina - Costa Rica friendly match.

Can the visitors do anything to stop the champion from claiming its ticket to the round of sixteen?
