In order to carry out his transfer plans, the Italian boss will allow some of the team's top earners to leave the club.

After just four games at the helm, Carlo Ancelotti has found out that Everton needs a major facelift to compete against their Premier League peers. With that in mind, and following a passionate rant against his players after their 1-0 loss against Liverpool in the FA Cup last weekend, the names of six players set to leave the club have been revealed.

According to a report by The Sun, Ancelotti has singled out half a dozen players that need to leave the club in order to satisfy his transfer demands and to increase the team's chances of making it back to the top ten in the EPL. Four of those players were involved in Sunday's loss against the Reds, while two more were not even used by "Carletto".

Those players are Jordan Pickford, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane, Theo Walcott, Cenk Tosun and Morgan Schneiderlin. One of Ancelotti's main concerns in the ongoing transfer window is to sign a goalkeeper to force Pickford to pick up his level after a rough start of the season.

Furthermore, The Sun's source states that Ancelotti has named Sigurdsson as a "lost cause," and has asked the team's hierarchy to part ways with the player as soon as possible.

Ancelotti's first two games at Everton ended with victories against Burnley (1-0) and Newcastle, but their recent matches saw the Toffees lose against Premier League contenders Manchester City (2-1) and Liverpool. Apparently, the Italian tactician has identified the team's needs, and he is willing to fund all incoming transfers by letting all of these players leave.
