Despite making an immediate impact since his arrival, the player's agent has cast a cloud of doubt over his future.

PSG seems to be on a roll this season, topping the charts in the Premier League and with a good chance of making it to the Quarter finals in the UEFA Champions League. But even if everything seems to be in place for Les Parisiens under Thomas Tuchel, one of their standout players this season is not sure if he will return next year with the team.

According to an interview published by Eurosport, striker Mauro Icardi is still considering the possibility of leaving the club next summer, when his loan deal with Les Parisiens ends. That is what his wife/agent Wanda Nara told the media outlet.

"If he will leave PSG by the end of the season? It is his choice to make. There's nothing certain, we'll see. It's obvious that making a trip from Paris, to Rome, to Milan is easier said than done. Mauro has done beautiful things in France and I'm happy. We've made a lot of friends, so we'll see," Nara said.

Icardi has scored 14 goals in 17 games for PSG this season, cementing his reputation as one of the best strikers in Europe. In order to keep him around, the French side must pay Inter a buyout clause of over $77M, with no clear indication of this happening soon.

The player's tumultuous career with Inter Milan came to an end when Antonio Conte joined the nerazzurri. It was Conte who told Icardi he should look for other employment opportunites, and he seems to have hit the nail at PSG. Only time will tell if the French club will hire him for good, but with numbers like the ones he's put up this season, it seems that Les Parisiens would drop the ball if they don't offer Icardi a long-term deal.
