The Gabonese international has reacted to speculations linking him with a move away from the Gunners.

Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has responded to rumors that he is set to exit the club in the coming weeks. The 30-year-old Gabonese striker has quashed reports linking him with a move elsewhere while maintaining that his commitment to the Gunners remains intact.

Having joined the Emirates outfit from Borussia Dortmund in 2018, Aubameyang still remains an integral member of the side and has already bagged 15 goals in 25 appearances this season. With the attacker evidently on top of his game, recent reports from Spain suggested that Real Madrid is eyeing a player-plus-cash swap for him.

Aubameyang's current contract runs out in 2021 but the striker insists that he is not considering a move away from Arsenal any time soon. In his programme notes ahead of Arsenal's FA Cup third-round tie with Leeds, he wrote: "I would also like to react to some of the rumors that are going around about me in the media.

"People like making up stories and they should focus on what's happening on the pitch.

"They talk too much and it does my head in! I am the Arsenal captain. I love this club.

"I am committed to it and desperate to bring it back to the top, where it belongs."

Meanwhile, Arsenal is believed to be eyeing a move for Boubakary Soumare and will look to battle the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Valencia for the midfielder's service. The Gunners also recently enquired about Bayern Munich centerback Jerome Boateng.
