Apparently, there will be a Manchester Derby in the winter transfer window.

The winter transfer window is fully open, and two bitter rivals in the Premier League are ready to enter a battle to sign one of the most underrated but effective players in the league.

According to a report by Goal, both Manchester United and Manchester City have shown interest in signing Wolverhampton's top scorer, Mexican striker Raúl Jiménez. The former Benfica ace has been involved in more goals than any of Nuno Espirito Santo's men, and he has shown impressive form since joining the wolfpack last season.

The website states that both Manchester-based teams increased their interest in the footballer right after the 3-2 win for Wolves against the Citizens, when Jiménez led Nuno's men to a come-from-behind victory by scoring one goal and handing out one assist.

Manchester United has been desperate to find a suitable replacement for Romelu Lukaku since the Belgian striker left Old Trafford this summer, and while Marcus Rashford has filled the void with key goals, Jiménez's all-around game would help the Red Devils in their battle to win a spot in European competitions.

Jiménez has been involved in 51 goals for Wolverhampton since his arrival in the 2018-19 season. The El Tri striker has scored 34 goals, adding 17 assists to his tally.
