The German boss spoke ahead of Thursday's clash between Liverpool and Sheffield United.

Not all things will last forever at Liverpool, including the stint of some of their most talented players.

Speaking in the pre-match presser before the clash between Reds and Sheffield United, Jürgen Klopp admitted that even if Adam Lallana has found a way to impress both him and the team's hierarchy, the player's future seems to be far away from Anfield.

"Everything about Adam Lallana, Adam Lallana knows and I know, and I'm really happy for him that he's in sensational shape at the moment; that's what we try to show constantly, as often as we bring him in. He is a very important player in this moment. What will happen in the future, we will see. But for him, wherever it is – here or somewhere else – the only important thing is that he can show he is 100 per cent fit," Klopp said.

The German tactician admitted that Lallana has given him a bit of a headache when it comes to preparing his team, especially when he got past his injury problems.

"He had some injury problems that are completely done; trained, body is super fit, mind in a perfect place, enjoys the time here in the moment. You can see that in each second of training and when he plays, very influential," Klopp stated.

Lallana has been linked to a move back to Southampton, but no offers have made it to Liverpool's front desk at the moment. Either way, with his contract expiring next summer and with more players ahead of him in Klopp's pecking order, it seems that Lallana's time at Anfield will not go beyond June.
