Manchester United fans have expressed their frustration ahead of Wednesday's clash with Arsenal following Paul Pogba's omission yet again. The 26-year-old French midfielder was MIA as the Red Devils traveled to the Emirates for their first game of 2020, fueling speculations about a potential exit.
Pogba's unavailability comes barely 48 hours after his agent Mino Raiola cast further doubt over his future by criticizing Manchester United for ruining talents. Since returning from injury, the former Juventus star has featured twice for the Old Trafford outfit - the 2-0 defeat to Watford and the 4-1 thrashing of Newcastle.
In the previous away encounter over Burnley, the World Cup winner watch on from home as his teammates grabbed a 2-0 win at Turf Moor. Solskjaer subsequently explained that the reason for the midfielder was down to the fact that the club did not want to risk him as he had recently recovered from an injury.
With Paul Pogba's availability stirring debates week in and week out, some fans are convinced that the club might not be telling the full story as it is.
Pogba is not injured, he wishes to leave and Solskjaer cannot say he's refusing to play because we want to get as much money for him as we possibly can. All there is to it. Happy New Year everyone - 2020, the year I say it as I see it.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær said YESTERDAY that Paul Pogba was in contention to play tonight and now he's suddenly injured after having rested since Newcastle on Boxing Day. Also, this injury came up after Mino Raiola had spoken about Pogba. Something doesn't add up. #MUFC

Remember when Romelu Lukaku was 'injured' but everyone knew he was getting shopped around Europe?

Ole 'protected' him in the media because there was a chance that he would remain at #mufc & you can't continue the season with a player who you publicly slag off.
Pogba's the same.
Didn't Ole previously say Pogba was back or am I tripping?

Fs TL is literally split in two. One half think that Ole's lying about his injury and Pogba is trying to get a move in January and the other half think that Pogba is injured and that Ole is at fault for it.

I love Paul Pogba & I'm no conspiracy theorist but..

Come on, man. https://t.co/yeMx7sMNa0
Amid the growing frustrations, Solskjaer has debunked any sense of conspiracy by revealing that the French midfielder has picked up another injury and will be out of action for some time.
"Paul is injured, he is feeling some discomfort in his ankle and will be out for a few weeks, yes definitely,"the Norwegian manager declared.
