The Iranian footballer saved the day for the Seagulls with an impressive strike with only six minutes left on the clock.

The year has only just kicked off, and we are already witnessing some fine goals courtesy of Premier League players.

One of those footballers to leave a lasting impression on the very first day of the year is Alireza Jahanbakhsh, who leveled the game between Brighton and Chelsea with a late, stunning bicycle kick.

As time expired in the game, Brighton was all-in trying to find the equalizer. After Chelsea's defense failed to clear a corner kick away from their box, Jahanbakhsh came out of nowhere with the stunning finish to earn the Seagulls a well-deserved point.
