He is back!

Former Los Angeles Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has finally completed a transfer to Serie A outfit AC Milan, a statement by the club confirmed on Friday. The 38-year-old striker who recently ended his stint in the Major League Soccer rejoined the Rossoneri on a free transfer until the end of the season with an option to extend his stay for a further year.

'AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic,' read a club statement. 'The club and the striker have agreed on a deal until the end of the current season with an option to extend the contract for the next one. 'The deal is subject to medical and all regulatory processes.

Ibrahimovic will be in Milan on January 2, 2020 to take his medical and he will then join his teammates for his first training session.' Ibrahomivic returns to the San Siro outfit still on top of his game having amassed 52 goals and 17 assists over two seasons for La Galaxy. In almost a decade ago, he was an instrumental for the men in red and black, scoring 56 goals in just 85 games between 2010-12 while leading the club to the Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana.

"I'm coming back to a club I hugely respect and to the city of Milan I love. I'll fight together with my teammates to change the course of this season. I will do everything to make it happen," said Ibrahimovic, who has registered over 500 goals for both club and country.
