The Reds may face up to eleven games this month, but Jurgen Klopp seems confident about his chances in the Carabao Cup and the global competition.

Despite their complicated schedule for most of the month, Liverpool's coach Jurgen Klopp has decided to take his best men to play the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar...with two names missing out.

The Reds are set to play their first Club World Cup clash on December 18 against Monterrey (CONCACAF CL winners), Al-Sadd or Hienghene Sport, but the main problem for them was that they have a Carabao Cup clash scheduled for December 17, which made it almost impossible for them to put up a full-strength squad in both games. Klopp has decided to take his top guns to Qatar, leaving a young squad to face Aston Villa in the cup tie.

Even so, Klopp will not have a full squad to choose from, as two players will not be able to play in either game. Fabinho and Joel Matip have been ruled out of the FIFA Club World Cup due to injury, and even if they made it back in time, their presence in the Carabao Cup match seems unlikely.

Here's Liverpool's full list of players for the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup.

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Adrián San Miguel, Andy Lonergan.

Defenders: Virgil Van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez, Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Neco Williams.

Midfielders: Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Adam Lallana, Curtis Jones.

Strikers: Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah, Xherdan Shaqiri, Rhian Brewster, Divock Origi, Harvey Elliot.
