The Swedish footballer looked back to his playing days with the LA Galaxy before making a statement about his future.

Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not revealed the name of the team he will be joining this winter, he dropped a massive hint on where it is located.

Speaking in an interview with GQ magazine, "Ibra" admitted that he will be heading back to Italian football, and while he did not mention the club, fans of that side can start saving to buy their jersey with Ibrahimovic's name printed on it.

"I will go to a team that needs to win again, a team that needs to renew its history and is always looking to challenge the rest of the teams in its league," Ibrahimovic said.

Having played for Juventus, Inter and Milan, the possibility of returning to Juve is out of the question, since they have won the Serie A for the past eight years. As for Inter, the nerazzurri are the top team in the Serie A right now, which makes Milan his most feasible option for a return, even if he had been linked to moves to Bologna and Napoli.

The Swede revealed the reasons to join such an ailing club.

"Joining a club that's going through such a tough time will give me the proper stimulation to keep surprising everyone," Ibrahimovic stated.

The former LA Galaxy striker looked back at his two years in the MLS, where he found a way to show the world that he was not there to retire.

"I'm very happy to have played for LA Galaxy, even more after the injury I picked up. Some of you guys said I'd never be able to play again, but I showed the world that I can still make a difference," the player concluded.
