Mourinho will go search of a straight successive win since becoming the Spurs boss when they take on Bournemouth. Check out our match preview for more info.

What is the form of Tottenham compared to Bournemouth?

Tottenham are looking to win back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since April. The 3-2 victory over West Ham brought an end to their five-game winless run in the English top-flight. They have drawn two of their last four home games (W2).

Bournemouth, meanwhile, are winless in their last two games. They have suffered back-to-back defeats away to Newcastle and at home to Wolves, meaning their 1-0 win over Man United in the beginning of November is their only victory in their last eight games (D3, L4).

Tottenham vs Bournemouth head-to-head record

These two clubs do not have a rich history, having crossed paths only once prior to Bournemouth’s promotion to the Premier League back in 2015. The head-to-head record favors the north London giants but the last their last encounter saw the Cherries emerge victorious 1-0.

Team news

Erik Lamela is a doubt for this fixture while Ben Davies and Michel Vorm are both sidelined for this game. Fortunately for Mourinho, he could have to key players back in the form of Jan Vertonghen and Tanguy Ndombele.

Both were on the bench for their Champions League win over Olympiacos, coming back from 2-0 down to win 4-2. As for whether Eric Dier will start after being substituted off in the first half of Tuesday’s game, that remains unknown.

As for the away side, they have a few concerns of their own. David Brooks is yet to return form an ankle injury while Joshua King’s hamstring issue looks to keep him out of this tie.

The Cherries will be without captain Simon Francis, who is suspended, but Eddie Howe is hoping that Ryan Fraser will be fit for this game. Solanke and Kelly also face late fitness tests.
