Tottenham enjoyed a 3-2 win on Jose's debut, while Mane helped Liverpool maintain their unbeaten run.

Sunday’s thrilling 3-3 draw between Sheffield United and Man United all but brought an end to Matchday 13 in the Premier League, with Newcastle’s clash with Aston Villa being the only remaining fixture.

It was a disappointing result for the Red Devils, but they weren’t the only top-six side to suffer. Chelsea threw away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at Man City, a tough ground but a game they could have won. Elsewhere, Arsenal’s horrible streak continued as they fell to a horrendous 2-2 draw at home to second-from-last Southampton.

As for Tottenham, they enjoyed a 3-2 win on Mourinho’s debut. Spurs conceded two goals and were in danger of succumbing to a draw but held on. Here are the best stats from the weekend games.

West Ham 2-3 Tottenham – Mourinho ends awful run in Spurs debut

Jose Mourinho enjoyed his debut game as Tottenham boss – for the most part. Despite conceding two late goals, Spurs came away with the win nonetheless. This means the north London giants put an end to the team’s awful 12-game winless run in away matches, with their last victory on the road prior to Saturday’s triumph coming in late January.

Harry Kane reaches lovely feat in 3-2 win

Harry Kane got himself on the scoresheet in Saturday’s win. His goal turned out to be the winning goal, netting his team’s third strike. His effort saw him reach a lovely feat, becoming the third all-time scorer in Tottenham’s history.

Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool – Mane joins list of elite goalscorers

Roberto Firmino might have come to the rescue with his 85th-minute winning goal but it was Sadio Mane who reached a milestone in the 2-1 win. The Senegalese forward broke the deadlock in the first half, scoring in his fifth successive Premier League appearance against the Eagles, becoming only the third player in the club’s history to achieve this.

Sheffield 3-3 Man United – the best numbers from the comeback draw

This game had everything, from a horrendous defending blunder from Man United to a VAR controversy which prevented the Red Devils from winning all three points. Nonetheless, despite the comeback, this was the first time the 20-time Premier League champions conceding 3+ goals against a newly-promoted side since September 2014.

Furthermore, Man United have now failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 12 away games in the league. This is their worst record since going 15 without a clean sheet in 1985-86.

However, it wasn’t all bad for the Red Devils. Mason Greenwood scored in the draw and became the third-youngest Man United player to score in the Premier League after Welbeck and Macheda.
