Kane bids farewell to Pochettino on social media

Harry Kane bids farewell to Pochettino with emotional social media post

November 20, 2019 By Oscar Rojas
Spurs' captain had stayed mute over the coach's sacking, but he stepped up to offer comforting words for the departing boss.

Jose Mourinho may have already been appointed as Tottenham's new coach, but one of the team's leaders has had his say on Pochettino's sacking.

Harry Kane took it to social media to discuss Pochettino's dismissal from the club, and he did so in endearing terms. The striker praised his boss for the trust he showed him during their time together, and he even calls the Argentine "a friend".

Here's Kane's emotional post saying goodbye to Pochettino.

Curiously, not all players issued statements on social media to part ways with their boss, which seems to be an indication of how things were between the Argentine and some of his former pupils. Be that as it may, Pochettino may not last long in the list of unemployed managers, as two clubs have already entered negotiations to sign him.
