UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers: How to watch France vs Moldova live on November 14

November 13, 2019 By Michelle Bonsu
France will be looking to seize top spot in their group as they take on already-elminiated minnows Moldova on matchday nine of qualifiers.

Current form: France vs Moldova

With Turkey continuing to stubbornly hang on to top spot - but facing a very tricky clash against Iceland - France will definitely look to take advantage of this as they will be welcoming bottom-feeders Moldova to the Stade de France for their penultimate match on Wednesday evening. Les Bleus were frustrated once again by Turkey in their last match, who battled to hold them to a one-all draw to ensure they maintained their place on top of the group, and now they will hope that their opponents drop points against Iceland as they are guaranteed to easily sweep aside a Moldova side who have won just one game so far in qualifiers.

Turkey has proven to be a stumbling block for Didier Deschamps's side this year, as France have been successfully able to defeat every single other team they have faced. That includes cruising to a comfortable 4-1 win over Moldova the last time they met and for all intents and purposes, they should have no issues doing likewise here - especially as Moldova come into this game having lost their last fixture against fellow minnows Andorra.
