The Croatian footballer's deal with Los Blancos ends next summer, and a club on the rise could lure him away from the Spanish capital.

Luka Modric's time at the Bernabeu may come to an end this summer, and despite having a few offers from some top-caliber clubs, the 34-year-old midfielder could end his playing days away from the pressure of the top European leagues.

According to a report issued in the Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, Modric could leave the Bernabeu next summer after receiving a massive offer from Inter Miami FC, the MLS franchise owned by David Beckham.

The report by Eduardo Inda suggests that Modric will consider the offer due to the massive wage he would collect, added to the fact that Real Madrid is already looking to ship the footballer elsewhere due to his age.

Modric is one of many footballers that have been tempted by Inter Miami, including James Rodríguez, Javier Mascherano, Luis Suárez, Edinson Cavani (who has reportedly agreed to move to the U.S. next year) and even Lionel Messi. The franchise is set to make its debut in the 2020 season, and Inter Miami is set to make a big impact with a top-caliber signing, but only time will tell if Modric will bid farewell to Spain in order to join the newly-created team.
