The Englishman broke the deadlock for the Blues in what was his 10th Premier League goal this season.

Chelsea have just recorded their sixth straight win in the Premier League, beating Crystal Palace 2-0 in Saturday’s early kick-off. It wasn’t the greatest of performances from the Blues but it was a professional display nonetheless, with Tammy Abraham getting on the scoresheet and setting a lovely feat along the way.

Lampard’s side found it hard to break down the Eagles in the first half and thus the game was level 0-0 at the break. However, it didn’t take too long for the London giants to break the deadlock once play resumed.

Seven minutes after the second-half resumed, Abraham handed the home side the lead after burying a lovely pass from Willian past Crystal Palace. Pulisic would go on to add the second but it was the young Englishman who scored the winning goal.

And with that strike, his 10th this season in the Premier League, he reached an impressive feat. He became the second-youngest Chelsea player to reach double figures in the Premier League, coming short of the record held by Arjen Robben.

Furthermore, Tammy became only the fifth English player in the club’s history to score 10+ goals in the top-flight, joining Sturridge and current manager Lampard on the list.
