The Brazilian youngster caused quite a stir due to his sensational performance on Wednesday, and this former Barcelona footballer was no stranger to it

Real Madrid's 6-0 win against Galatasaray prompted comments from fans and experts from around the world, but some of those came from the most unexpected source.

Former Barcelona ace and Ballon D'Or winner Rivaldo looked into Los Blancos' win, naming Rodrygo Goes as the key for Real Madrid's win. Furthermore, Rivaldo admitted that his compatriot could help the Spanish capital giants forget about the man that led them to three UEFA Champions League titles.

"He has been a key member for Real Madrid against Galatasaray. He is helping the team to get to a similar level to the one they had back in the Cristiano Ronaldo era," Rivaldo said.

Goes has been a surprise addition to the team's lineup for a few games, and the legendary Barcelona ace admitted that he is making himself worthy of such an honor.

"He is earning the right to be a starter. The trust Zidane is giving him is important for a player that is developing in Europe. Besides, he has it all: he has the ability, the skills and the capacity to score goals," Rivaldo added.

Then, Rivaldo looked into Barcelona's current situation, and urged his former team to do the right thing if their current boss can't lead them to the title.

"If Valverde fails in his quest to win the (UEFA) Champions (League), it would be time to change the coach. Koeman would be an excellent choice (to replace him)," Rivaldo added.
