What is the form of Seattle Sounders compared to Toronto FC?

Both sides head into the MLS Cup final on the back of this clash on the back of three playoff wins. However, it is Seattle Sounders that boast the superior winning streak with five straight wins leading to the final. Furthermore, from their last nine games, they have enjoyed six wins, drawing twice and losing twice.

As for Toronto, they have won their last four games. However, when it comes to their last nine games, it’s identical with the Sounders, enjoying six wins and suffering only two defeats (D2).

The Canadian side have lost more than half of their encounters with the Sounders, with the Seattle outfit winning the last two regular-season encounters. Seattle Sounders are expected to name an identical lineup to the one that beat LAFC in the Western Conference final. Roman Torres has been struggling with injury, which means the defender will make the bench at the very least.

As for Toronto, the biggest concerns surround Omar Gonzalez and Jozy Altidore. The star defender and attacker have been sidelined for the whole postseason, with the USMNT forward himself confessing that he will need a miracle to feature in the final.

The Sounders similarly suffered 10 losses but unlike their Canadian opponents who came in fourth in the Eastern Conference, they finished in second in the Western Conference.
