The Spanish center back was one of the few shining lights for Barcelona in their disappointing draw against the Czech side.

Gerard Pique is one of the most outspoken players inside Barcelona's locker room, and his latest words will surely have some effect on the general environment surrounding the team.

Following the goalless draw between Los Culés and Slavia Prague, Piqué made it his business to address the media. In those moments, Piqué shared insight on the team's tactical approach to this game, and he seemed less than satisfied with what he saw. Furthermore, the Catalan center back does not feel strongly about the team's future in this competition if they can't rise back to greatness.

"Playing like we did today, the notion of winning the UEFA Champions League seems highly unlikely," Piqué said, in clear reference to how the team obeyed Valverde's orders in the dugout.

The former Manchester United footballer added that there might be time to solve the team's current predicament, especially with two games left in the group stage of the top club competition in the world.

"We have to figure this out as soon as possible. We have to find a way to make good choices, we are not playing in the exact way we want to," Piqué added.

Even if his initial words may be a bit surprising, Piqué asked fans to be patient, especially since they have given them so many memories to look back at.

"There have been other moments where we were not playing properly and we ended up winning a treble, just like when Luis Enrique was here," Piqué concluded.

Barcelona are still on top of Group F in the UCL, with games against Dortmund and Inter on the way.
