According to one man, Saudi investors have already purchased the Red Devils.

The rumors linking the crown prince of Saudi Arabia with a takeover of Man United, one of the biggest clubs in the world, have been circulating for quite a while now. However, an unofficial confirmation appears to have arrived from a peculiar source.

According to Moaid Mahjoub, who is a director of government affairs, the Red Devils have been bought by investors from the Middle-Eastern powerhouse. While his post did not name the buyer, everyone quickly put two and two together.

That man is none other than Mohammad Bin Salman, the controversial Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Many fans have confessed their desire to see a change in ownership, with the current owners Glazer being blamed for the club’s fall from grace.

This takeover, if true, could see the 20-time Premier League champions rival the likes of Man City and PSG in financial power and could aid their return to the top. An injection of cash can also be expected.

However, the peculiar thing about the post is that Mahjoub, a verified Twitter user with over 100k followers, made this claim on LinkedIn. No confirmation has come from the club or the Glazer family. Check out the post below.

As a result, this should be taken with a pinch of salt as we have no word from the Red Devils. Until then, fans can rejoice in the fact that Solskjaer’s side are back to winning ways, enjoying three consecutive victories. Next up in a Premier League clash with Bournemouth in Saturday’s early kick-off.
