The player insists that he is not happy.

Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has highlighted his frustrations at Camp Nou amid rumors that Inter Milan is interested in his signing. The Chilean international has revealed that he is not happy with how he is being treated by Los Blaugrana.

Having joined Barca from Bayern Munich last season, the 32-year-old midfielder enjoyed a stellar campaign which was climaxed with the Catalans emerging as La Liga champions. However, the arrival of Frenkie De Jong from Ajax this summer has seen the former Juventus star reduced to a squad player with the likes of Sergio Busquets, Arthur and Ivan Rakitic all ranking ahead of him in the pecking order.

This has seen manage just one appearance across all competitions with his involvement coming in last month's 4-0 victory against Sevilla. As a result, speculations have emerged that the Chilean might consider a move away from the Camp Nou in January and Serie A outfit Inter Milan has been touted as his most probable destination.

Despite the claims, Arturo Vidal has stated that he is eager to work his way back into Barcelona's starting lineup albeit admitting that he is not happy with his current situation.

"I will work hard to not leave this club and contribute to our seasonal objectives but I'm not happy," he told Chilean newspaper El Mercurio.

"Even if I'm trying to get through this situation and earn a place in the starting line-up.

"I have worked hard my whole career, my moment hasn't arrived yet, but I'm calm, as I know it will.

"I don't seem to be able to find an explanation. There are different ways to look at football, these are the decisions a coach must take. I try to help the squad when I'm called upon."
