On Thursday, Belgium became the first country to qualify for Euro 2020. Heading into the international break, the Red Devils knew they only needed to beat San Marino to book their spot in next year's competition and beat San Marino they did.
The European giants enjoyed a huge win, beating the minnows 9-0 to secure qualification. Not only did this result maintain Belgium's perfect record in the qualifying round, but this means Roberto Martinez's men have still only conceded once from those seven qualifiers.
The game also saw Romelu Lukaku make history. The Inter Milan striker scored a brace in this game, breaking the deadlock in the 28th minute before adding a second shortly before half-time. However, it was his first strike that saw the former Man Utd man make history.
That goal saw the 26-year-old hit the 50-goal mark for his nation, becoming the first Belgium player in history to reach the half-century mark. His tally now stands at 51 goals in 83 appearances for the European side.
RECORD: Romelu Lukaku is the first-ever player to score 50 goals for the Belgian National Team.

Next up for the Red Devils is a clash with Kazakhstan. Roberto Martinez's men might have secured qualification, but they are yet to win Group I. That will be their next goal before embarking on their campaign to win Euro 2020.
