The final minutes of Barcelona's clash with Sevilla on Sunday was marred by two red cards with Ronaldo Araujo and Ousmane Dembele being the culprits. Despite taking a four goal lead, Los Blaugrana was made to battle the last few minutes by being two men short.
Goals from Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Dembele and Lionel Messi ensured a cruising ride for the Ernesto Valverde's men who eventually leaped to second position on the league table. However, the side will be required to take their chances in subsequent matches without the scorer of their third goal as he received his matching orders before the conclusion of meeting with the Andalusians.
In the buildup to the Frenchman's feat, debutant Ronald Araujo - who replaced the injured Todibo in the 73rd minute - was shown a straight red card for pulling back Sevilla's Javier Hernandez in a 1v1 situation. In protesting against the referee's decision, Dembele was also handed a straight red card for dissent.

The implication of Dembele's actions could yield a far more worse sanction should the incident be reviewed. As it was a straight red card, the Barcelona winger will be suspended for the clash with Eibar as well El Clasico. The number of matches the former Borussia Dortmund star might miss could increase to four depending on the referee's match report.
| Dembélé could have hit Lahoz with his arm (involuntarily) and it appears he also insulted him. Ousmane will almost definitely miss El Clasico with a 2 to 4 match suspension. [carrusel] pic.twitter.com/BdjuCePi66

Dembélé's situation is interesting. So, according to SER, it seems like he insulted referee Mateu Lahoz, which was the reason for his dismissal. He got a yellow in the 53rd minute, but when he got dismissed, Lahoz only showed a red card, not a yellow then a red.
