Here's all you need to know heading into matchday seven of the 2019/2020 Serie A season.

Serie A is set to break for another international hiatus, but before then, calcio fans are in for a real treat as Inter and Juventus lock horns.

The two teams sit at the top of the table, in first and second and it's set to be a huge showdown for Antonio Conte as he welcomes his former side to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday. Both teams haven't lost so far this season and he'll want to get one over on the Bianconeri, who are now led by Maurizio Sarri.

Here's all you need to know ahead of matchday seven.

  • Milan are on a three match losing streak...but will be taking on a Genoa side who have failed to win 15 of their last 16 Serie A games

  • Atalanta have lost just one of their last 19 Serie A games

Key talking points ahead of matchday seven

Will Inter overcome their Juventus hoodoo?

Inter may be on a six game winning streak, but they have a frustrating hoodoo when it comes to playing Juventus. The Nerazzurri have won just three of their last 20 meetings with Juventus, and this upcoming game could prove to be decisive in who clinches the Scudetto. It's not called the Derby d'Italia just by chance, and the two teams are separated just two points.

Milan desperate to avoid sliding further down the table

Milan are currently on a three game losing streak and are just one point away from the drop zone. They will next take on fellow strugglers Genoa in a must-win game for Marco Giampaolo's side, but the Grifone also will be desperate for all three points as they are right now in dire straits after winning just one match all season.
