The Senegalese forward finally had his say on that incident in the clash with Burnley.

Sadio Mane's on-pitch fallout with Mohamed Salah in that 3-0 win over Burnley may have occurred just over a month ago, but reporters have still been curious as to the Senegalese's thoughts on the matter following the incident.

The former Southampton ace grabbed the headlines over his outburst over his team-mate's failure to pass the ball, with many speculating that their might be a rift. The Reds have gone about their business, winning every single game in the Premier League, but this topic came up once again in a pre-match press conference for their Champions League clash with Salzburg.

Mohamed Salah had previously addressed speculation of a rifting, posting that viral video of the two kids hugging on the street to point at a reconciliation between the African duo. Mane has echoed a similar sentiment, saying that all has been forgotten.

The attacker admits to being frustrated at that time, but as many pundits said, he argued that this is a normal occurrence. Sadio said:

"These things happen in football," he said (as per Sky Sports). "I was a little bit frustrated because you want to score more goals.

"You can see Manchester City [scoring] eight, six, seven, so for the team I think it is really important for us to score as many goals as we can.

"But he didn't see me and we are really, really good friends. It's all forgotten and behind us."

The pair have been excellent for Klopp's side this season. However, neither the club did not get off to a good start in their Champions League defense, losing 2-0 to Napoli. Next up is a clash with Salzburg, who beat Genk 6-2 in Matchday 1.
