Can Juventus get back to winning ways in the Champions League as they take on Bayer Leverkusen?

Juventus will be bitterly disappointed with how they allowed a two-goal advantage to slip against Atletico Madrid, but now they will have another chance to get things right as they take on Bayer Leverkusen. Their upcoming opponents sit bottom of Group D after surprisingly losing 2-1 to Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moskva, and with Atleti expected to beat that team, the pressure will be on La Vecchia Signora to pick up all three points against Leverkusen on home turf on matchday two.

The hosts come into this game having beaten SPAL 2-0 at the weekend, with goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Miralem Pjanic, but it still was not enough to overtake league leaders Inter in Serie A. Maurizio Sarri now will have to turn his attention back to Champions League action for now, but looming on the horizon this weekend is a huge clash with the Nerazzurri in a game that could see Juventus end Inter's perfect winning streak.

Despite struggling for points so far in the Champions League, Leverkusen have won their last two Bundesliga games and will hope that good form can help give them a boost against the Scudetto holders. This will be their first trip to Turin since 2001, when they lost 4-0, but although Sarri's side haven't hit full gear just yet, they are still unbeaten across all competitions. That means this could be a sterner task than expected for the German visitors, who are winless in their last five trips to Italy, with losses in four of those matches.

Juventus: La Vecchia Signora are still missing a whole slew of players, including skipper Giorgio Chiellini, Douglas Costa, Danilo, and Mattia De Sciglio due to injury, while Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic wereleft off the Champions League squad entirely. Alex Sandro could miss this game due to personal reasons after missing out on the SPAL game this weekend.
