Preview: Chelsea vs Brighton
Chelsea come into this game having easily cruised to a 7-1 victory over Grimsby in the League Cup. That marks the team's first home win under Frank Lampard, and now they'll be hoping to make it their first home win in the Premier League when Brighton come to town this weekend. The Blues find themselves outside the top ten (in 11th presently) but can certainly work their way back into the top half of the table with a victory against an opponent who are just a couple of points away from the drop zone.
Brighton, for their part, have won just one game in the league so far this season, and current boss Graham Potter clearly had no interest in going far in the league cup as he fielded a weak starting XI against Aston Villa. It's apparent that Brighton's focus is staying up in the Premier League, and having picked up just three points from their last five games, they will be looking to grind out a point against Chelsea on Saturday.
