This is a must-win for Universidad San Martin, as the Peruvians can secure their place among America's top-sixteen upon a positive result this Tuesday on Mexican ground.

With only two points after four games, a victory is mandatory for San Luis to remain competitive in the fight for the top of the group. If Libertad defeats Once Caldas, then San Martin can be left only one-point away from the qualification line.

The Peruvians celebrated an important victory at home a few weeks ago against San Luis. In the last five minutes of the game, Gianfranco Labarthe and Carlos Ariel Marinelli beat Cesar Lozano's goal without hesitating.

The hosts don't know what it's like to claim the full scoring in the Libertadores this season, and they should take advantage on the fact that San Martin will have to do without striker Hebert Arriola and Julio César Moreira to be as aggressive as possible and secure the three points.

The group is lead by Junior Barranquilla, with perfect scoring after four games. Leon Huanuco needs a victory to keep up with Gremio's pace, currently occupying the second place with seven points.

Oriente's coach Ariel Cuffaro Russo misses offensive midfielder Mauricio Saucedo, but recovers Juan Carlos Arce, who's likely to join Alcides Peña in the last meters of the field.

Leon Huanuco's coach Franco Navarro chances his arm as the Peruvian Lions visit the Tahuichi Aguilera, who'll claim the three points?

Ricardo Gareca's Velez must secure the full scoring in Liniers to remain competivive in the fourth group. Argentinean international Juan Manuel Martinez is likely to return to the starting squad, taking over Augusto Fernandez's place (or perhaps David Ramirez's, in case Gareca opts for a more defensive formation).

Jose Luis Sierra's boys are prepared for a true American six-pointer. Raúl Estévez, Sebastián Jaime and Leonardo Monje will be leading the attack at the Fortin, eager to claim the top of the group upon a positive result.
