It's been a tricky season so far for Chelsea and new coach Frank Lampard. So far, the Blues have won one of their first four games, while drawing two and losing one, and find themselves in 11th spot. This week is set to be a tough one for Lampard, as his young side will be in Champions League action against Spanish outfit Valencia before taking on Liverpool at the end of the week.
Chelsea will be bitterly disappointed with the outcome from their last game after conceding twice against Sheffield United. At one point, it seemed like they had the game in the bag thanks to a brace from young striker Tammy Abraham until their opponents grabbed two goals in the second half as a result of defensive errors.
As for Wolves, they find themselves in 17th place and have yet to win a game so far in the Premier League this season. That being said, the hosts will be fancying their chances against a Chelsea side yet to fully find their footing under their new manager. In addition, Wolves were quite solid in their Europa League play-off campaign, knocking off Torino to deservedly earn a spot in the group stages and they'll have to shake off the sluggishness they have been facing to start working their way up the table.
Wolves: Defender Willy Boly is suspended for this fixture. Fellow defender Matt Doherty could be in doubt as a result of a knee issue that required a recent surgery.
Chelsea: Antonio Rudiger is set to make his long-awaited return after being on the treatment table since April. Pedro is another who could feature after recovering from a hamstring injury. However, N'Golo Kante is still a doubt due to an ankle issue.
Here's where the two sides find themselves in the table ahead of their clash on Saturday.
