The Brazilian ace spoke fondly about his former boss after the game between A Canarinha and Peru.

With his future up in the air, many Liverpool fans thought that Philippe Coutinho had a legitimate chance of returning to the Premier League side. Today, the Brazilian ace revealed if he was ever close to shock fans with a return to Anfield Stadium.

The footballer spoke right after the match against Peru and discussed a variety of topics, which included how his former boss reacted to his loan deal with Bayern München.

The Brazilian footballer even revealed a number of text messages he exchanged with his former boss at Liverpool, where Klopp wished him all the best in his new Bundesliga adventure and offered his advice in case he needed some help to settle in.

Klopp sent me a message and wished me luck. He wrote that Bayern is a big club and the Bundesliga a great league. He is very happy to see me there," Coutinho stated.

The former Barcelona player went on to discuss Klopp's impact as Liverpool's coach, and he even left the window open to working with him one more time.

"He's just a great coach, one of the best of the world. A real leader. I learned so much from him, especially on the mental level. He changed Liverpool. It was an honour to work with him," Coutinho added.

The 27-year-old has played just two games for Die Roten, but he is yet looking for his first goal with the Bundesliga titans.
