The French boss was not satisfied with the display the Egyptian ace put up during Liverpool's last game before the international break.

Mohamed Salah's antics against Burnley keep raising controversy among fans and experts, and this time, it was Arsene Wenger who shared his views on the incident that sparked Sadio Mané's fury.

The Senegalese footballer caught the attention of fans around the world after Salah failed to pass him the ball for an easy tap-in. An enraged Mané blasted Salah's decision, and moments later, he was taken off the pitch by Jürgen Klopp. Mané was furious with this decision and continued his rant while on the bench, before leaving the pitch to enter the dressing room.

One week after that incident, former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger discussed Mané's reaction and pinned all the blame on Salah.

"I like him very much, he has huge potential. Mane as well. But Salah is a bit obsessed with finishing himself," Wenger said.

Mané did not hold back after Salah's decision to keep the ball to himself.

In fact, Wenger went on further by comparing Salah's skills to those shown by Lionel Messi, but according to his analysis on beIN Sports, Salah is not as mature as the Argentine when it comes to making key calls on the pitch.

Salah has similarities with Messi, but he must find the consistency of Messi. I find he's a good finisher but Messi has the complete thing, he gives the final ball as well," the former Arsenal boss stated.

Even if he has endured a harsh week for his actions, Wenger believes that only time will "cure" Salah's greedy nature, especially when he realizes that his actions have an effect on the outcome of each game.

"That's a dimension he'll get certainly, when he grows a little bit older, to find the moment when you have to give the ball and when you have to finish," Wenger added.
