The Welsh ace is currently on international duty, but he has spoken candidly about his situation at Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale has gone from an outcast at Real Madrid to playing a key role in Los Blancos' games.

Fans, experts, and even the footballer have been surprised by the change of heart Zinedine Zidane has experienced when it comes to analyzing the player's contribution to the club, but even as surprised as he might be, Bale hints that his rocky relationship with the French boss might not be over.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Bale let it all out in regards to his present and future with the Spanish giants, especially since he does not want to live the same uncertainty for the rest of his stint at the Bernabeu.

"I focused on preparing well during the preseason, regardless of where I might have ended, and I was quite shocked about the change of heart regarding my future. But honestly, I'm pretty sure there will be more turbulences on that matter. I suppose it's something I will have to discuss with the club, it's between them and myself, and we will have to reach some sort of conclusion," Bale said.

The Welshman, who has also been characterized as an outcast for his alleged lack of chemistry with his team-mates, admitted that being labeled as the main responsible for the team's disappointing 2018-19 season was not easy to handle, even if he did not feel he was the only one who had to be blamed for the team's poor performance.

"It was hard for all of us, for me and the team, but they (the media) put all the blame on my shoulders. I tried not to listen to that, but I don't think that was fair," Bale added.

Before the interview came to an end, Bale made one more revelation about his status at Real Madrid, hinting that being able to play is not enough to keep him satisfied.

"I am a professional and I am doing the best I can. And now, I wouldn't say that I'm happy, but at least I'm playing," Bale stated.
