The international break is underway and with it comes several interesting friendlies. This is the first break of the new season and there are quite a few superstars out with injuries, such as Messi, Suarez, Hazard, Pogba, and Kante.
Nonetheless, there's a lot to look forward too for the upcoming friendlies. Neymar finds himself back in the Brazil squad and could take to the field for the first time since picking up an injury in a friendly against Qatar back in June. Coutinho for the Selecao, Dybala for Argentina, Napoli ace Hirving Lozano for Mexico, and Pulisic for USMNT are a few of the talented names to have been called up and they are ready to excite.

Chile vs Argentina – a chance for Dybala to prove his worth?
Once hailed as the future of football, things have not been going great for Dybala. First, there was the Copa America in which the South American sensation watched his nation struggle from the bench. He scored a goal, netting in the 2-1 third-place playoff win over Chile, but playing time wasn't awarded to the attacker.
At Juventus, things haven't fared better. The Argentine has fallen down the pecking order and was even linked with an exit after talks with Sarri. The former Palermo starlet isn't happy with his situation, but the clash with Chile could be his opportunity to prove to the world his worth once more. There will be no Messi, Aguero, or Di Maria. This is Dybala's shot at shining.
Colombia vs Brazil – a welcomed return for Neymar?
Neymar is undoubtedly one of the most talented players in the world, but after Brazil's Copa America triumph, many started asking where he would fit in Tite's squad. Would the manager cast aside one of the players who impressed over the summer just to accommodate the PSG ace or would the boss go on merit and make the 27-year-old fight for his spot after his battle with injuries.
Neymar is back in the squad and having not played a single game for PSG this season, questions linger over his fitness. However, Colombia should be a tough opposition and it will be interesting to see if the world's most expensive player makes his return.
USA vs Mexico – a shot at revenge and a fight for bragging rights
A few months back, Mexico denied USA a shot at silverware when the two faced off in the 2019 Gold Cup final over the summer. A 1-0 win crowned El Tri as champions with their bitter rivals ending the tournament on a sour note.
Fast forward to today and Pulisic and Co. have a shot at revenge. There's the extra bonus of bragging rights, as the two nations are tied on wins when it comes to friendly matches. In 26 non-competitive encounters, both sides won 10 teams each. This match is promising.
