After months of speculation, the Argentine striker has decided to put an end to his tumultuous stint at Inter Milan.

One of the transfer sagas of the summer transfer window has come to an end in spectacular fashion, as Mauro Icardi has completed a move away from Inter to sign a loan deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

The highly-rated striker finally agreed to leave the nerazzurri side, where he was stripped from the captain's armband and demoted to a substitute role. The latest "insult" to one of the most prolific striker in Inter's recent history came when Romelu Lukaku was handed his jersey number, which hinted that Icardi was set to endure complicated moments with the Serie A side this season.

Earlier today, reports started flying in about Icardi and his agent/wife Wanda Nara making a trip to France, where the footballer would undergo a medical to join Les Parisiens on loan. Once the proper medical examinations were conducted, PSG took it to social media to reveal the news to the world with two tweets.

Icardi's initial move to the French side will be on loan. A buyout clause has been included in his contract, which would force Les Parisiens to pay over $76M for his services if they want him to stick around.

Icardi scored 124 goals for Inter in all comps, and he will fight for a spot in the starting lineup with none other than Edinson Cavani, the team's all-time top scorer.
