Football fans on social media have heavily slammed Arsenal's Granit Xhaka for his display in Sunday's North London derby. The 26-year-old Swiss was to culprit for a penalty in the first-half which handed Tottenham a two-goal lead. 10 minutes after the hour mark.
One fan described the incident as a "moment of madness" with Xhaka hacking down Heung-min Son in the Gunners' box. The rest was a mere formality for Harry Kane who simply slotted home the resulting spot-kick to put Tottenham 2-0 up after Christian Eriksen had grabbed the opener.
Quite fortuitous for the former Monchengladbach star, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang restored parity for Unai Emery's side in what was a thrilling derby at the Emirates. Nonetheless, the sins of the host's skipper were not totally erased with fans coming out to voice their displeasure with his input in the clash.
In a rather fascinating development, Xhaka's offense in Sunday's North London derby meant that he has so far given conceded five penalties in the Premier League since making his Arsenal debut in 2016. Currently, no player in the competition has given away more since his arrival.
Since the Premier League began tracking the statistic only three outfield players - Martin Skrtel, Joleon Lescott and Gary Cahill - have made more errors directly leading to goals than Granit Xhaka's seven.

Truthfully I want Xhaka out of our club as soon as we can. Do other fans agree or am I too harsh?
