Chelsea will be looking to maintain a VERY long-standing record when they welcome Sheffield United this weekend. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for Chelsea vs Sheffield United.

Preview: Chelsea vs Sheffield United

Chelsea finally earned their first competitive win under Frank Lampard last weekend, with youngsters Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham's goals enough to see off a touch Norwich City side. In fact, it's these two young players who have scored all four of Chelsea's goals so far (two for Mount, and two for Abraham), which shows how much faith Lampard has in youth so far this season.

They'll be seeking to build on that hard-fought win as they take on Sheffield United - a team that they haven't lost at home to since October 1992. Although the visitors are ahead of Chelsea in the table, it's simply due to their superior goal difference as both sides are level on four points after picking up one win, one loss, and one draw from their first two games. Furthermore, the last time the two sides met in the Premier League - during the 2006/2007 term - the Blues won both home and away without conceding a single goal.

On paper at least, this looks like it should be another win in hand for Lampard's side, despite it featuring a few more youth players in the starting XI than what Chelsea fans are used to traditionally seeing.

Team news: Chelsea vs Sheffield United

Chelsea: N'Golo Kante still misses out due to injury after not featuring for the Blues during the team's victory over Norwich last weekend. Pedro is also still on the treatment table. Although defender Antonio Rudiger featured for the reserve side, he's not expected to play on Saturday.

Sheffield United: Oli McBurnie, who's the club's record signing could feature here in the starting XI after coming off during half-time during the team's EFL Cup win versus Blackburn earlier this week.
