Los Blancos have seen nine of their players coming down with injuries during the earlier months of the season.

Zinedine Zidane's plans to bring Real Madrid back to greatness have been deterred by the appearance of an unexpected enemy: an injury plague.

The Frenchman has seen up to nine players coming down with injuries since the team started preparing for the 2019-20 season, and it seems like there will be no immediate end to this issue. Brahim Díaz, Ferland Mendy, Thibaut Courtois, Rodrygo, Jovic, Eden Hazard and James Rodríguez have picked up muscular injuries for Los Blancos, and today, Isco was confirmed as the latest addition to Real Madrid's injury list.

The Spanish playmaker will be out from two to three weeks due to a thigh problem, according to a press release by the club. The footballer was expected to be included in Spain's list for the upcoming international break, but this physical setback will change La Roja's plans regarding the player.

These injury problems have caused fans and experts to look closely into Gregory Dupont's work as the team's new physician. The French physio came highly recommended due to his work with France's National Team, which ended up winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup with him as part of Didier Deschamps' staff. Unfortunately, the team's busy preseason schedule has not synched with his methods, causing a massive number of injuries to Los Blancos' players.

As for Isco, the player is expected back to play against Sevilla on September 22, the second game Los Blancos are scheduled to play after the International break.
