The agreement will include expanded coverage of regular season on ESPN networks in addition to expansive schedule on ESPN+

United Soccer League fans will be thrilled to know that the league and ESPN have reached a deal that will see this competition aired by the "Worldwide Leader in Sports" from now until the end of the 2022 season.

This deal will see ESPN not only increasing its coverage of the tournament three-fold, but USL games will now be broadcast in Spanish via ESPN Deportes. Furthermore, a detailed coverage of the competition will be available for fans via ESPN+, the leading multi-sport, direct-to-consumer video service.

“We are thrilled to continue with ESPN and ESPN+. USL is an organization that aims to put the fans first and we know that supporters across the country will be very pleased with this new three-year agreement and the exposure it brings," USL Executive VP Court Jeske said.

The 2020 season in the USL will mark the fifth year of collaboration between the league and ESPN. The deal includes up to 18 regular season games being broadcast by ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU or ESPN Deportes annually, added to the dedicated broadcast of the USL Championship Final. All other matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.

“We’re delighted to continue our relationship with the United Soccer League, and showcase the USL Championship and USL League One competitions across ESPN networks and ESPN+ through this new agreement,” said Scott Guglielmino, ESPN Senior Vice President.

USL is the latest addition to ESPN's soccer offer, which includes Major League Soccer, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, Italy’s Serie A, the F.A. Cup, the English Football League, and the qualifiers for the UEFA 2020 European Championship
