The Belgian striker found the back of the net to cap an interesting debut with the Italian side against Lecce.

Romelu Kukaku was bashed by Manchester United fans during his second season with the club, even if he always stepped up to score key goals for the Red Devils when given a chance. Today, the Belgian ace cemented his reputation as a top-caliber striker by scoring his first goal with Inter Milan just days after Solskjaer's men were unable to beat Crystal Palace.

The former Everton man was deeply involved in his team's performance, which saw Inter claim an emphatic 4-0 win against Lecce in their opening match of the 2019-20 Serie A season. This win gives the nerazzurri the top spot in the Italian top-flight, as no side was able to score more goals than they did during the weekend.

Added to that, Lukaku kept quite an interesting streak going on.

Lukaku scored after Lecce's goalkeeper was unable to hold on to a shot by Lautaro Martínez. The Belgian striker proceeded to send the ball to the back of the net with a smooth right-footed finish.
