Les Parisiens were allegedly interested in parting ways with the Brazilian footballer, but their demand was not something Los Blancos wanted to give into.

The latest rumor on Neymar's potential departure from PSG involves Real Madrid, PSG's Sports Director and one promising footballer making a name for himself with the Spanish capital giants.

Real Madrid seemed to be in pole position to sign the striker on Monday, but PSG allegedly made one demand that Florentino Pérez and Co. were not willing to satisfy.

According to similar reports by Marca and As, negotiations between Les Parisiens and Los Merengues began with PSG asking Real Madrid to include Vinicius in the negotiation. Apparently, the French club's Sports Director, Leonardo, is a big fan of the footballer, and he wanted the player to be included in the deal, plus a hefty cash offer. Real Madrid denied this request twice, and negotiations were brought to a halt.

Vinicius and Neymar have repeatedly shared details of their friendship on social media.

Leonardo's reasons to include Vinicius in the deal had to do with the team he used to play for in the Brazilian top-flight. Both Leonardo and Vinicius were brought to the spotlight by Flamengo, and PSG's exec has reportedly referred to the talented winger as an 'anti-Neymar', since he is a player with great potential and an excellent behavior on and off the pitch. Nevertheless, Real Madrid was not interested in parting ways with one of their most promising players.

Furthermore, Vinicius has always stated that playing alongside Neymar would be a dream come through, and paving the way for his signing with Real Madrid is not an option neither for him nor the club.

It is yet to be seen if Los Blancos come up with a counter offer for the player's services, especially since coach Zinedine Zidane keeps asking the club to sign a new midfielder, rather than trying to lure Neymar to the Bernabeu.
