The Blaugrana officials are expected in the French capital later today for a meeting with PSG.

Neymar's future continues to remain up in the air. While it is a mystery where the Brazilian ace will end up, one thing is obvious: he is no longer wanted at PSG.

As previously reported, no item featuring the Selecao superstar's name can be found at the club's Parc des Princes store. This is the biggest hint yet that his exit is imminent, given that he had been the ambassador and face of the club since his world-record switch to Paris.

Furthermore, fans unveiled a banner in the team's opening Ligue 1 game of the season telling the South American sensation to leave. One club eager to take Neymar off of PSG's hands are Barcelona and they have already taken their first step towards resigning the attacker.

Cope Catalunya posted a picture on Twitter of Eric Abidal, Barcelona's director of football, on a flight to the French capital for a meeting with the Ligue 1 champions over the 27-year-old player. Sky Sports corroborates this story, claiming that the Frenchman and board member Javier Bordas are both expected in Paris today to open negotiations for a transfer.

Whether the meeting will go well is unknown given the sour relationship between Barcelona and Neymar's current employers. However, Leonardo and Co. know they wrap up things before the transfer window shuts close on September 2.

Real Madrid have also been linked with the former Santos sensation, with the rumors picking up pace in the past few days. Neymar appears destined for a return to Spain, but to which La Liga side is the question.
