Norwich City had the worst start possible in their return to the English top-flight with this early goal against Liverpool

Great start for Liverpool...and the worst way for a recently promoted team to make their mark in the English Premier League.

Liverpool had the honor of scoring the first goal of the 2019-20 campaign, but the main problem is that none of their players did so. Norwich's Craig Hanley inadvertedly found the back of the net after a cross from Divock Origi, making fans around the world cringe on the player's poor defending.

To make matters worse for the footballer, his "effort" will never be forgotten, as only one more player had done a similar thing on opening day.

This own goal by Norwich's captain was followed up by Mohamed Salah, who found the back of the net after 22 minutes.
