Apparently, the Belgian striker does not want to stay one more minute at Old Trafford, judging by his recent actions.

If Manchester United is ready to play hardball, so is Romelu Lukaku.

The footballer is trying to force a move away from Old Trafford after being left out of each and everyone of the team's pre-season games, which adds to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reluctance to grant him a spot in his regular lineup. Even so, Lukaku's latest actions could get him in trouble, especially if he wants the team to listen to an offer made by Inter Milan.

According to the Daily Mail, the Belgian striker was allowed to train with Anderlecht's youth category on Monday by Manchester United execs, but he decided to extend that leave of absence for one more day. Not only did he participate in the training session, he was reportedly quite active in the team's exercises, which rule out earlier reports of an ankle injury.

The player's desire to leave the club has faced a few roadblocks, since Manchester United's asking price has not been met by either Inter Milan or Juventus, who attempted to swap Lukaku with Paulo Dybala last week. Now, the player seems determined to have things going his way, even if he needs to pay a fine for his actions.

Further reports by the Mirror suggest that Lukaku may be stripped from his next two weekly checks, the maximum fine imposed by Manchester United's hierarchy.

With the end of the transfer window in the Premier League closing in, and with the Red Devils failing to find a proper replacement, Lukaku seems to be in need of a miracle to be shipped away from Old Trafford.
