Following almost two months of uncertainty, Dani Alves has finally landed the gig he wanted.
Sixteen years after playing in the Brazilian top flight, Alves will return to play in his home country. The former Barcelona and PSG star has signed a three-year deal with Sao Paulo, one of the most popular sides in Brazilian football.
Alves reportedly turned down offers from Inter Milan and Napoli to play for his childhood club. Added to that, the three-year deal offered to Alves will give him a chance to play until December 2022, when the FIFA World Cup is set to take place in Qatar.
The club made the announcement on social media during Thursday's final hours.

Alves' main goal with his new club will be to win a Copa Libertadores, something that would see him join an elite list of players that were able to win the UEFA Champions League and the South American tournament.
