The Welsh footballer was supposed to stay in Madrid to train alongside Casemiro, James and Militao, but he had other plans.

Gareth Bale seemed to have a certain portion of Real Madrid's fan base behind him after Zidane's handling of his transfer situation, but his latest antics have put an end to any support he could have enjoyed from Los Blancos' loyals.

Just when the team needed to come together and solve their current preseason woes, the Welshman decided to stay behind in the city of Madrid. Not only did he skip the Audi Cup for being "overly stressed," he chose to go out and allegedly skip training to play golf, just when his teammates were losing the friendly tournament's semi-finals against Tottenham.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial showed pictures of Bale perfecting his swing, which made Real Madrid fans exploding in rage.

"According to Zidane, Bale did not make the trip to München because he was not feeling fine. Nevertheless, while Real Madrid was playing against Tottenham, he was getting better...on the green."

Right after the game between Fenerbahce and Los Blancos, which concluded in a 5-3 win for Zidane's men, the French boss refused to comment on the subject, but he was also pretty adamant to point out that he will not overlook this behavior.

"You are telling me something that has surely happened. I'm here with my players, and I'm not going to comment on that. I hope he trained there. We are here, thinking about the team. I don't know," Zidane briefly explained.

"Well, we'll see when we get back. I will not prevent someone from doing something. He has to look after his responsibilities," the French boss added.

Bale seems to be ready to go rogue against the French tactician, especially after Zidane went on the record to say that it would be better for Bale to search for other employment opportunities. Now, both of them seem to be destined to work side-by-side, especially since Bale does not seem ready to leave the Spanish capital.

Even so, and considering the evidence in hand, Zidane seems to be eager to keep this matter and a potential sanction behind closed doors.

"I will not tell you if it is disrespectful," Zizou said about Bale's professionalism. "You are not going to put me in a position that I don't want to be in. I will not answer anything more than that," the tactician said to end the press conference.
