Gareth Bale's purported move out of Real Madrid has been called off. The Welsh winger had been set to join Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning in lucrative deal but has seen his purported switch blocked by his club's board.
The 30-year-old forward has been a subject of transfer speculation this summer after his manager Zinedine Zidane confirmed that the road was clear for him to secure a move elsewhere. Amid the said breakout in relationship between the French manager and the former Tottenham Hotspur star, a transfer Chinese outfit Jiangsu Suning with a reported £1m a week wage was said to be in place for the latter.
On Saturday, it was reported that Real Madrid risked not getting not getting a penny for Bale as Jiangsu was unwilling to fork out a massive transfer fee on top of the massive wage being offered. The Merengue winger was expected to be the highest paid player in the world for at least three years with the Super League outfit.
Nevertheless, news that emerged from the camp of Los Blancos on Sunday suggested that Gareth Bale's move to Jiangsu is off the table. According to multiple reports that emerged, the Bernabeu outfit have insisted that the transfer does not represent good value if there is no fee to be earned from the sale of a player they recruited from Tottenham Hotspur for a then world-record fee of £86 million.
Gareth Bale will NOT join Jiangsu Suning and the deal has never been done.

With the Chinese transfer window closing in three days and the English window in about 11 days, a departure away from Real Madrid now looks highly unlike for Bale. As per the Sun, Zinedine Zidane has been left furious about the development having been told that should be ready to accommodate Bale for yet another season.
