The former Inter Milan skipper is expect to seal a move away from Giuseppe Meazza this summer.

Former Inter Milan skipper Mauro Icardi favors a move to Juventus because of the pregnancy of his wife Wanda Nara. The 26-year-old Argentine forward is on the verge of sealing a transfer away from the Nerazzurri but has no intentions of leaving Italy at the moment.

With a remarkable career marred by series of controversies, Mauro Icardi is expected to end a six-year spell with Inter Milan this summer. Having been frozen out of the Nerazzurri, the forward is actively in search of a new club and has been lined to the likes of Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus this summer. With the Red Devils reportedly refusing Inter Milan's proposal of a swap deal of Icardi for Romelu Lukaku, the former Sampdoria star has been tipped for a switch to Turin.

Reports in the past indicated that the player and the Old Ladies have already agreed personal terms the former aims to continue his legacy in Serie A. However, a new revelation by Chi suggests that Mauro Icardi's decision to remain in the league as a result of his wife who is pregnant for the sixth time.

Per the news outlet's account, the couple have agreed on raising all their children in Italy and, as a result, do not see the need to move to another country for the time being. At the moment, Juventus and Inter are yet to reach a common ground in the talks that will see the Argentine striker move to Turin.

On Friday, Corriere dello Sport reported that the Nerazzurri have raised their asking price for Icardi to  €80 million. With Juventus posing to be frontrunners in the race, Napoli is also said to be keen on the 26-year-old striker's signature.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan's pursuit of Romelu Lukaku is yet to yield a desired result with Manchester United playing hardball in the negotiations. The Serie A outfit had it's opening bid of €65 million plus €15 million in add-ons rejected by the Red Devils not too long ago.

A fresh report by the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano has stated that Antonio Conte's side has submitted an improved offer of €70 million plus €5 million in bonuses for the Belgian striker.
