Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has asked fans to take it easy on the Frenchman before -and after- his future with the club is sorted out.

Paul Pogba and his agent, Mino Raiola, have not been shy about their interest to see the French star leaving Manchester United. Even with that background, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to believe that the Red Devils are the right club for the footballer and viceversa.

In fact, the Norwegian boss decided to praise Pogba's contribution to the team despite his entourage's attempts to see him leave Old Trafford.

"He's never been a problem and we're just grateful he performs as well as he does," Solskjer said in an interviewpublished by the Daily Mail.

There have been some concerns about the reaction of most Manchester United fans while Pogba is on the pitch, since there have been some jeers aimed at the French star. According to Solskjaer, those incidents will not be replicated if the player stays.

"No, I think our fans know what Paul has given the club and what he can give us. Of course there is a loud, small minority, but Paul has been an absolutely top individual and me and the players would testify to that," the coach added.

The Red Devils are scheduled to play two more games in the International Champions Cup, including a clash against Tottenham on Thursday's early hours. Pogba had an interesting performance during the team's first clash against Inter last Saturday, which hints that he will repeat as part of the team's lineup. Let's see how fans welcome him when he takes the pitch to face Spurs.
